"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating. It is my first WoW post! How psyched am I.
Series: A Court of Thorns and Roses #1
Expected Publication: May 5th 2015 by Bloomsbury Children's
Genre: Young Adult, Fantasy
When nineteen-year-old huntress Feyre kills a wolf in the woods, a beast-like creature arrives to demand retribution for it. Dragged to a treacherous magical land she only knows about from legends, Feyre discovers that her captor is not an animal, but Tamlin—one of the lethal, immortal faeries who once ruled their world.
As she dwells on his estate, her feelings for Tamlin transform from icy hostility into a fiery passion that burns through every lie and warning she's been told about the beautiful, dangerous world of the Fae. But an ancient, wicked shadow grows over the faerie lands, and Feyre must find a way to stop it . . . or doom Tamlin—and his world—forever.
Isn't that book cover so gorgeous? And it's in red! It's my favorite color after all! I cannot wait for it to be released and have my copy of it. I will surely buy a hardcover one. I just love the dust jackets. Anyway, it's S. J. Maas we are talking people! I heard her series Throne of Glass is a great read! I have not read it sadly. Over all, we cannot wait for it! AAAAHH! Lots of book bloggers have read it in advance but I will not myself get envied and spoiled. I will patiently wait for it. *Wink!
Sarah J. Maas is the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of the Throne of Glass series, as well as the A Court of Thorns and Roses series.
Sarah lives in Bucks County, PA, and over the years, she has developed an unhealthy appreciation for Disney movies and bad pop music. She adores fairy tales and ballet, drinks too much tea, and watches an ungodly amount of TV. When she's not busy writing, she can be found exploring the historic and beautiful Pennsylvania countryside with her husband and canine companion.
I didn't love Throne of Glass, but I really enjoyed the sequels! :) I loved ACOTAR too, and I hope you enjoy it once you get to read it, Yani! :)
ReplyDeleteEveryone enjoyed it, Aimee! I'm sure I will, too. Thanks! <3
DeleteIf you're a huge fan of Sarah's Throne of Glass series, this well definitely not disappoint Yani. ;) I hope you end up enjoying it as much as I did when you get your hands on a copy! Thanks for sharing!

You're welcome, Zoe! You have read this already? Lucky you! I am sure I will enjoy ACOTAR. Sadly, I have not read Throne of Glass series. :/
DeleteI think this one is available on National bookstores already. Have you checked there yet?
ReplyDeleteThe book looks interested and I love fantasy series. I have read Throne of Glass before but I didn't like it that much. I will try again once the whole series is completed already since I heard a lot of good reviews about the succeeding books.
